berkeleybarnOwlets Berkeley and her siblings Bo and Bree prepare to dance at the “Leave the Nest Fall Fest,” before it is time to fly off, leave home and find a barn of their own.  Trepidation and separation anxiety ensues, especially for shy Berkeley. They are launched, explore the world to find their new homes, and Berkeley finally finds a barn with animals she can kick up her heels with.  This tender story, with soft illustrations quietly inspires a young reader, that the journey is worth it, and can conquer the original anxiety and fear.
