scatWhen the meanest science teacher in the state of Florida (and possibly the world!) mysteriously disappears during a school field trip into the Everglades, a trio of middle school misfits embark upon a thrilling adventure to uncover the many secrets in the Black Vine Swamp.  A hilarious and kooky cast of characters (including a preteen pyro(maniac), a singing substitute teacher and an eccentric trustfund ecoterrorist) make this a fun read as our heros attempt to save the place they love and an endangered panther cub from evil and corrupt oil developers and discover what really happened to ‘Bunny’ their science teacher.  If you liked Hoot or Flush you will really like Scat!

Ages 10 and up.
