WE ARE EXTREMELY VERY GOOD RECYCLERS by Lauren Child

recyclerIt’s hard to know how much Lauren Child actually had to do with this book, which seems to be based on an animated television show.  Certainly the illustrations look like her work.  Whatever Child’s level of involvement, a picture book about recycling will be very useful in our libraries—especially since it is populated by Charlie, Lola and their friends.  (I’ve been stymied for a long time when asked to provide nursery schoolers with stories about recycling.)  It’s not as charming as most of the books about these siblings, but it fills a gaping hole.
