robinIt is time for Lady Winter to wake Sister Spring, so she can bring everything back to life. But Lady Winter loves snow and cold, and refuses to wake her. Robin and the other animals take turns trying to get into the house to wake Sister Spring. With a touch of details similar to those in creation stories (like explaining how ladybug got her spots, and how robin got a red breast) and beautiful acrylic-painted illustrations (pastel colors for Winter scenes, bright for Spring), this book is destined to become a classic. An excellent addition to booklists about the seasons.

Very highly Recommended- Michelle Meltzer (Yonkers Riverfront)
