read-it-dont-eat-itSimple, rhyming text cautions youngsters on how to take care of library books.  Large and bold text on advises children to treat books with care:

“Read it, don’t eat it”

“Find someplace else to sneeze”

“Borrow, don’t steal”

The opposite page shows charming animals depicting the offense.  Bold, primary colors will hold the attention of a large group.  Adults will get the humor–a dog is dog earring the books, an elephant sneezes, the raccoon illustrates “don’t steal” the book.  An entertaining and humorous way to introduce children to the proper care of books.  Perfect for class visits and story times.
