farleyFarley, a big floppy dog, with an insatiable appetite, begins his day with a bath. With lightening speed, he manages to escape just before it’s over.  Irresistible aromas coming from a bar-b-que at a nearby children’s party, lure him away.  Soon the frisky canine’s nose leads him to several new locations all over town, where he immerses himself in many gastronomical experiences and fun-loving activities.  As early evening comes, Farley discovers a lost boy in the park, who he made friends with at the party.  Farley recognizes familiar scents from his shirt and leads the boy to his home.  The day ends where it began, after Farley’s family finds him disheveled and smelly.  The cartoon-like illustrations are full of adventure, discovery and fun.
